We wanted to try a new sushi place, and I'm glad we chose JAL Japanese Express. We went on a Saturday early afternoon, it was pretty slow, but they have only been open a month. We started off with ordering the Monkey Ball and Miso Soup. Both were really good. We then ordered salmon and unagi nigiri. The unagi was amazing! For sushi, we ordered a California roll, Volcano roll, NRH roll, Dragon roll, and Yummy Yummy roll. Each roll was delicious. My personal favorite was the Volcano roll. The service was courteous and fast. We would definitely be back soon as we really enjoyed JAL Japanese Express!
This is a new hidden gem! Hands down the best fried rice I’ve EVER had! The veggies are cooked to perfection as well. We got in and out quickly and the bill was well under 50.
Ordered pickup for lunch, they were fast, food was fresh, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Most importantly the food was delicious. I got the Spider Roll and Monkey Ball. Will be back!
Beautiful experience eating at JAL Japanese Express. I ordered the Poke bowl which was very flavorful and savory. The heart attack side dish was probably the best spicy meal I've ever eaten. If your seeking a true authentic Japanese food experience come here. The hostess was also also very friendly and overall atmosphere was very warm. I can't wait to return.

Our server Casey was exceptional! We had 19 & a baby. Everyone's order was exact! She's phenomenal! The food... So incredible! Everyone at this place is amazing from our waitress to the chef. I sure hope these people stay in business. They made Mother's Day and 2 birthdays wonderful!! Hats off to them!!!
UPDATE!!! The business has been sold my below review is for Maki Poke. I drove 35 minutes from my house just to visit this restaurant and it was totally worth it. I’ve been on a poke hunt but there was no where good near where I live. They use super fresh fish unlike alot of other places and the portions are pretty big! The sauce they use I think is house made and definitely the best in the Dallas area. We also got a few other things on the menu and they were also all really delicious. I would drive another 35 minutes to come back just for poke. I am jealous of everyone that live so close!

The restaurant is spotless and so well-organized, creating a great dining atmosphere. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, offering excellent service that makes you feel right at home. Chef Johnny and Linda are truly the best, so talented and kind! I’ll definitely be coming back for more and highly recommend their sushi and hibachi dishes to all my friends.
